On June 25, 2016, I had the honor of documenting Isaac as he proposed to the love of his life, Corianna! Craggy Gardens, as you will see, is an incredibly beautiful mountaintop nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. And even more importantly, a very special place for Isaac. So on this day he brought Corianna to his special spot to ask her to marry him.
I was so worried that Corianna was going to think I was stalking them because Isaac got a little nervous and wasn't quite sure where exactly he wanted to actually get down on his knee. I had to use some sleuthing skills and lots of peripherals, but she said she never even realized I was taking their pictures until Isaac told her after the proposal was done!
Corianna's reaction was priceless and of course she said "yes!"
Isaac had Corianna's ring specially made just for her! Knowing that she is an artist (and a really awesome one at that! check out her pop art style portrait paintings on instagram Coriannastyle), Isaac knew her ring needed to be unique and one-of-a-kind to match her fun personality! I think this uncut diamond was the perfect choice!
After giving Corianna a few minutes to regain her composure, we decided to do some sweet engagement pictures to show off their amazing love (and that view!!). I feel like I need to make a little note that I did not pose them in 99% of these pictures, they really are just THAT awesome and in love!
She would just randomly remember that she just got engaged, and it was the most adorable thing ever! Lots of squeeing and tears! She said things like "I don't think I will stop crying all day long!" and "This is the best day of my entire life!"
